
Oilers Launch Name The Mascot Contest

The Tulsa Oilers will be introducing a new mascot, and we're leaving it up to the fans to name it!
The new mascot is a bird, and it will be unveiled at the home opener THIS Friday, October 24th!
All entries can be faxed or mailed to the Oilers' office, 9128 E. 46th St., Tulsa, OK, 74145. You can also e-mail your entry to: amy@tulsatalons.com. The deadline for entering a name is Thursday, October 30th, at 5 p.m.
Entries must include your mascot idea, your name, phone number, address and e-mail. If more than one person sends in the winning name, the first person to send in their idea will be considered the winner.
The Oilers open the 2003-2004 home schedule this weekend, hosting the Memphis RiverKings on Friday and Colorado Eagles on Saturday.
Individual game tickets can be purchased at the Oilers ticket office, at Carson Attractions, in the Tulsa Convention Center, plus the Drug Mart locations in Tulsa, Owasso, and Broken Arrow.
