
Bats Have Faith Night, Radio Deal

Austin Ice Bats News Release
The Austin Ice Bats of the Central Hockey League will present "Faith and Family Night" this Saturday at the Travis County Expo Center, as they take on the Oklahoma City Blazers.
Doors will open at 5pm for a pre-game concert by the Christian group "Among Thorns." Originally from Texas, the Nashville-based worship band is winding down a critically acclaimed nationwide tour.
Following the concert, the Ice Bats meet the Blazers in a 7:30pm face-off, with inflatable cheer sticks to go to 5,000 fans. Tickets for the game and concert are available by calling the Ice Bats office at 927-PUCK.

The Ice Bats also announced today that all away games will be broadcast on News Talk 1260, KWNX-AM for the second straight season. The station will broadcast all road games during the 2003-04 regular season and CHL Playoffs. (A regular season broadcast schedule is attached to this release).
The broadcasts will also be available on-line through www.SportsJuice.com. Ice Bats Director of Broadcasting, Media/PR Glen Norman will handle play-by-play duties for a sixth straight season. Home or away, Ice Bats fans will also be able to follow the action with real-time scoring through the Ice Bats website, courtesy of Pointstreak.com. Fans will be able to access a game box score in real-time, as well as those of all other CHL games being played.

Tickets to all Ice Bats home games are now available at all Texas Box Office locations, including the Ice Bats ticket office and all Austin-area HEB stores. Individual game tickets range in price from $10 to $30, depending on section, with discounted rates for groups of 15 or more. In addition to group tickets, season tickets remain on sale at the Ice Bats office, in full-, half-season, or 10-game plans. Free Belfry Club membership is still included for all new full season packages, as well as free parking for all full-season and half-season plans.
