Tulsa Oilers News Release
*Holiday Happening:* 'Tis the season for folks to gather at friends houses and tonight the Tulsa Oilers and Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs play the second straight ngiht, after getting together last night in Bossier-Shreveport.
*Records: *Oilers are 7-12-3 for 17 points in fourth place in the Northeast Division.
Bossier-Shreveport is 14-7-2 for 30 points in second place in the Northeast Division.
*Season Series: *This is the fourth of eight meetings between the two teams. Bossier-Shreveport has won the previous three, so the Oilers record in the head to head series is 0-2-1.
*Recent Action: *The teams met last night in Bossier-Shreveport with the Mudbugs prevailing 4-3 in a shootout. Each team struck quickly with Bossier-Shreveport scoring two goals 1:31 apart in the first period and the Oilers getting their three goals 2:37 apart, with the first two separated by only 18 seconds.
*Calling Collins: *In just seven games, Sean Collins has become an offensive threat for the Oilers. He has five goals and three assists for eight points. Last night Collins had his second three point game, with two goals and assist.
*Another Three Pointer: *Oilers leading scorer Jeff Christian keeps rolling along as he had a goal and two assists last night. He now has 11 goals and 25 assists for 36 points. It was also the third time in the last four games he has registered three points. Christian now has a dozen multiple point games, and a half dozen games in which he has notched at least three points.
*Welcome To Tulsa: *Tonight marks the first home game as Oilers for defenseman R.J. Linder and right wing Mike Mullen.
*Postgame Festivities:* Following tonight's game, fans will have the chance to visit with Oiler players and coach Dan Hodge in the One Ok Club (at the top of section 110) and then at C.J. Moloney's located at 91^st and Aspen.
*Next Up: *The Oilers play Christmas night at Oklahoma City. That will start a stretch of seven games in 10 days for Tulsa. Bossier-Shreveport hosts Texas on Tuesday.
