Oilers Football Adds Former CIF Lineman

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, proud member of the IFL, announced Thursday the signing of offensive lineman Patrick Barrett.

Barrett (26) is yet another former Omaha Beef member to rejoin head coach Marvin Jones in Tulsa. The brand-new Oiler won two championships with Omaha. Prior to his Oilers contract, the 6'2, 305 lbs. offensive lineman played with the Beef from the 2019-20 season through the 2021-22 campaign. In his final season with the Beef, the former CIF center took part in 14 games and helped his team finish second in the league in scoring, third in points per game, and first in total offense.

"Barrett is a great center and long-snapper," said head coach Jones. "He brings a championship mindset along with experience to our culture."

The Waukesha, Wisconsin native played college football at Carroll University, suiting up for the Pioneers for three seasons from 2015-2017.

With this announcement, the Oilers announced roster now includes James Summers(QB), Deonte Cruse(OL/DL), Maliek Stephens(RB), Dominic Logan(OL/DL), Christopher Ivy(OL), Eric Sadler(DL), Jeremiah Harris(WR), William Auwae(OL), Tre Harvey(LB), Jamon Langford(WR), Kazon Edwards(LB), Tre King(RB), Bobby Froehlich (QB), Ja'Davien Williams(DL), Joshua Robinson(RB), Tyler Jones(WR), Myles Tease(WR), Caleb Wells(DL), Kevin Moore(DB), Kelvin Jenkins(DB), Gibson Ziah(DL), Stanley Dye(DL), Connor Flagel(DL), and Patrick Barrett(OL).

The Oilers will begin their inaugural season in 2023.
