October 19, 2016 - ECHL (ECHL)
Tulsa Oilers News Release
Tulsa becomes latest ECHL team to change over to the reliable audio streaming service, free to fans, for all home and away games.
TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets and AHL's Manitoba Moose, announced the club's audio broadcast platform Wednesday for the 2016-17 season. The Oilers will stream all home and away games on Mixlr, and the Mixlr Mobile App, which is free to fans around the world to download and listen.
In previous years, the Oilers have used Ustream as a platform for game broadcasts, but are making the switch to provide fans a higher quality, more user-friendly avenue to listen to their favorite team's games. Nearly one third of the 27 ECHL teams use Mixlr, including Wichita, Atlanta and Cincinnati, among others.
Fans can simply go to www.tulsaoilers.com and click on "Listen Live" at the top of the page to tune in to all Oilers broadcasts throughout the 2016-17 season, with pregame coverage starting 15 minutes before each scheduled game. Fans can also go straight to the Oilers' Mixlr page: mixlr.com/tulsaoilers.
Video coverage of every ECHL game can be found on ECHL.TV powered by Neulion, allowing fans to choose either the home or away audio broadcast while watching games. Many different subscription packages are available for fans of all interest levels.
