
Oil Kings Players to Participate in READ IN Week this October

Edmonton, AB - With the school season upon us, the Edmonton Oil Kings are excited to announce that several of their players will be joining classrooms between Monday, October 3 and Friday, October 7 to participate in READ IN Week.
Oil Kings READ IN Week is designed to help ignite a passion for reading and celebrate literacy and life-long learning. The week marks a special time of each school year for students in Edmonton and surrounding areas as players from the hockey club visit classrooms to share stories in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Focusing on Grades 1 to 3, elementary school teachers in Edmonton and surrounding areas are encouraged to apply for the chance to have a member of the Oil Kings organization visit their classroom to be part of this exciting educational experience.
Registration is now open and will close Friday, September 23 at 5:00 PM MT.
