
Oil Kings Announce Novakoski Will Not Return as Director of Scouting

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings have announced today that Director of Scouting Jamie Novakoski will not be returning to the Oil Kings next season.
Novakoski spent five seasons as the Oil Kings Director of Scouting, previous to his role as Director, he worked as an area scout from 2007-2012. Novakoski will assist with the transition to a new Director of Scouting before leaving to pursue an opportunity outside of hockey.
Oil Kings President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Kirt Hill said, "We were excited for the opportunity to continue to work alongside Jamie as the Director of Scouting. Ultimatley, we understand his decision to pursue a new opportunity outside of hockey. We would like to thank Jamie for his many years of service with the Oil Kings and wish him the best in his future endeavours."
