
Oil Kings Announce Broadcast Agreement with iHeartRadio Canada for 2023-24 Season

(Edmonton, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings have announced a new broadcast agreement with iHeartRadio Canada for the 2023-24 season becoming the first sports team in Western Canada to have their own exclusive channel on the platform.
This season, all 68 Oil Kings regular season games will be available to listen to through the newly created "Oil Kings Radio" channel on iHeartRadio.ca and the iHeartRadio Canada app.
"Bringing the Edmonton Oil Kings broadcasts - both home and away - to iHeartRadio Canada will provide our fans an elevated listening experience as they follow their favourite team," said Oil Kings Director of Business Operations Kevin Radomski. "If you can't be at the game live, the next best thing will be to listen to Oil Kings Radio on your favourite device.
"We're excited for our fans near and far to be able to hear every goal this season and beyond!"
Fans wishing to listen to the games can do so by visiting iHeartRadio.ca, downloading the iHeartRadio Canada app through the App Store or Google Play, or by telling their smartphone or smart speaker to "play Oil Kings Radio on iHeartRadio Canada".
Game broadcasts will begin with a 15-minute pre-game show and conclude with a 15-minute post-game show featuring interviews with players and coaches from the Oil Kings, their opponents and other special guests.
Oil Kings radio broadcaster Andrew Peard returns for his sixth season as the play-by-play voice and will be joined on home broadcasts and select road broadcasts by long-time Oil Kings colour analyst Guy Flaming.
The Edmonton Oil Kings next home game is their 2023-24 Home Opener on Saturday, September 23 at 7:00 P.M. when they take on the Red Deer Rebels at Rogers Place.
