MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Taylor Motter drove in three runs while Jared Mortenson (4-0) went seven strong innings in a 6-3 win for the Biscuits (19-14) over the Jacksonville Suns (15-18) Wednesday night at Riverwalk.
Motter first came to the plate with the Biscuits trailing 1-0 in the first inning. After Ryan Brett doubled and stole third, Motter ripped a base-hit down the left field line to tie the game. Two innings later Motter slapped a two-out, two-run single to center to give the Biscuits a 3-1 lead.

After the Biscuits opened up a 6-1 lead, Joe Benson hit a two-run homer of Mortensen to make it a three-run game.
