June 18, 2016 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Orlando City B News Release

MELBOURNE, Fla. - Following Saturday's 2-1 win over the Charleston Battery, Orlando City B (5-6-2, 17 points) returns home for the first time in two weeks when it hosts New York Red Bulls II (8-1-3, 27 points) on Sunday, June 19 at Titan Soccer Complex. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. E.T.

The match will be streamed live at www.OrlandoCitySC.com/LIVE.

"I think we can expect a tough game against Red Bulls II. I think they are arguably the best MLS affiliate in the Eastern Conference," Head Coach Anthony Pulis said. "They have some very exciting, good, young players. They play very similar to the brand of soccer that their first team do so I think it's going to be a tough game but again, like every game, it's one we look forward to. We're coming off a really good win and good performance at Charleston Battery; we're excited and looking forward to Sunday."

In their last fixture, OCB defeated the Charleston Battery 2-1 despite playing with 10 men for the entire second half. Michael Cox scored in the 15th minute and Conor Donovan scored his first professional goal in the 42nd. Goalkeeper Mark Ridgers made 10 saves in one of his strongest outings of the season.

Cox's goal extended his team lead to five, while 2016 MLS SuperDraft first-round pick Hadji Barry has three goals and two assists. Ridgers leads the United Soccer League (USL) with 42 saves.

New York enters the match on a four-game winning streak. In their last game against the Harrisburg City Islanders, Sean Davis scored the winning goal in the seventh minute as the Red Bulls earned their fourth-consecutive shutout. New York's six goals allowed are the fewest in the USL.

Brandon Allen leads New York Red Bulls II with four goals, while Junior Flemmings leads the team with three assists.

Both teams will wear #OrlandoUnited t-shirts before the game, as well as commemorative armbands in honor of the victims of last week's tragedy in Orlando. There will also be a moment of silence before match.

OCB visits FC Montreal on Sunday, June 26, for a 3 p.m. kickoff. The Lions return to Titan Soccer Complex on Saturday, July 2, when they host the Charlotte Independence. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. E.T.
