Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - City Islanders FC will try to close out their four game road stretch on a positive note when they take on the Charleston Battery this Saturday, June 18 at MUSC Stadium.

After reeling off two straight dominant wins in familiar territory, City has failed to pick up any points in their last three road games. They have been in contention for each one, but have either let a late goal decide the game or fell short by just one tally.

This will be the second and final meeting between the two Eastern Conference rivals. In the first matchup Charleston scored one of those late goals that have been the Islanders achilles heel for the season. Austin Savage notched the winning goal in the 80th minute and Charleston walked out of Harrisburg with three points.

Now, City will look to return the favor. Charleston has only lost three of their last six games, but two of those loses have come on their home turf. City will also look for their first win against the Battery in two years as Charleston took all three games last season.

City comes into the game led by a balanced scoring attack of Paul Wilson, Aaron Wheeler, Bobby Warshaw and Craig Foster who have all picked up at least three goals this season. Warshaw has come on strong in the last few games by scoring all his goals in the last few games.

The Battery bring an attack that is led by Romario Williams, who has tallied six goals on the year, which is good enough for sixth best in the league. Williams is just one of nine Charleston players who have been able to find the back of the net this season.

The Eastern Conference is extremely tight this early in the season. A win for the Islanders could put them back in a fighting chance for the playoffs with a lot of soccer left to play on the season, while a victory at home for Charleston will vault them into the top three in the league.

After the elongated road stint the Islanders will finally return home on Tuesday, June 21 to face-off against Montreal FC and continue the homestand on June 24 when the Charlotte Independence comes to town.
