
Nourislamov Activated From IR

SAN DIEGO â Defenseman Evgueni Nourislamov has been activated from the 30-day injured list, the San Diego Gulls announced Friday. Nourislamov returns to the lineup after missing the last 23 games with a broken thumb.
The 6-foot-1-inch, 200-pound native of Ufa, Russia has 14 points (5g, 9a) and 18 penalty minutes in 24 games with San Diego this season. Nourislamov has also played two games for the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch this season, notching two penalty minutes.
Nourislamov broke his thumb Jan. 28 during the Gulls' morning skate in Peoria, Ill. In 56 career games for San Diego, he has 24 points (6g, 18a).
