QUOTES
New York City FC Head Coach Ronny Deila:
On the performance...
"For me, [Columbus] deserved to win today...every time they had the ball, they broke on us and we were too open. We were back to lack of discipline. Too much feelings instead of the brain when we play. That's when you end up in a situation you don't like to be in. What the cause of that is, I don't know. It's something we have to find out though."
New York City FC Forward Valentin Castellanos:
On the match and Maxi Moralez's return...
"I think the last 30 minutes we played a good game. We were down 2-0 and that was definitely tough, but we had a good attitude. Going forward we have to be 100% focused for the next games so we won't have the same result as today. Maxi is a great player and he and I get along very well. Off the field we're really good friends and we have a good connection on the field. He looks for me and he's able to pass me the ball at good moments and his injury hurt us a bit. He's a great player both physically and mentally and it's positive when he's playing with us."
