
North Carolina Courage Announce 2019 Roster in Advance of Home Opener

Cary, NC - The North Carolina Courage released their roster today ahead of the 2019 home opener on Saturday, April 13. The team will take on the Chicago Red Stars at 7:00 p.m. ET at Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. The match is presented by Charles & Colvard. The Official Jewelry Sponsor of the NC Courage will present the team with Championship Rings in a pre-game ceremony.
The roster is comprised of 20 returning players from the 2018 NWSL Championship winning team. The club has added Canadian International goalkeeper Stephanie Labbé, defender Ally Haran and signed 2018 draftee Ryan Williams to a supplemental contract in the offseason.
Additionally, 2019 college draft picks Leah Pruitt, Hailey Harbison, and Lauren Milliet have been extended contract offers, and more announcements will be made in the coming days.
The North Carolina Courage enter the 2019 season as the defending NWSL Champions and shield-winners. The Courage went 5-0-1 in their preseason matches outscoring their opponents 13-1.
