August 16, 2022 - Midwest League (MWL)
Dayton Dragons News Release
Dayton, Ohio - The Dayton Dragons announced today that there will be no price increase for any Dragons season ticket plan for 2023. Additionally, the Dragons announced several new benefits for season ticket plans including a free Day Air Ballpark gift card for all plans that is equal to 10 percent of the value of the plan.
Dragons President Robert Murphy offered the following thoughts in a letter to Dragons season ticket holders:
"I feel like we cannot move forward to 2023 without remembering what we have been through together these past few years. When we had our season cancelled, and we were in a financial struggle to get back on our feet ...you stood by us...you supported us...and you were generous and kind. The way our fans responded during and after the pandemic, are moments in our past that we should never forget. And we won't."
"Everywhere you look, prices are rising, that impact everyone. It is our desire to assist the many who have supported the Dragons."
Murphy continued by detailing the ballpark gift card.
"Not only are we not going to increase the price of your season tickets, but we are also adding even more value to your season ticket purchase. We are going to give you a Dayton Dragons gift card to use at our games for food, drinks, or the Dragons Den team store. This gift card will help you enjoy your nights out with us by providing you with some financial relief for purchasing your ballpark treats."
