No Bench Change For 2007-08
September 18, 2007 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Kamloops Blazers News Release
Calgary, AB / Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers will not be changing players' benches for the 2007-08 WHL Regular Season which begins on Friday.
The Western Hockey League, however, is ordering a compulsory change in the players' bench configuration at Interior Savings Centre for the 2008-2009 WHL season. The change will require the Kamloops Blazers to move from the west players' bench to the east players' bench with the visiting team taking over the west bench.
Due to the timing of this decision, the Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club will be unable to facilitate any seat changes in time for the 2007-08 regular season. Upon the conclusion of this season, the club will survey its season ticket holders in order that they assist in determining the course of action which would provide the best solution to this matter.<
