"Nights and Weekends" to Perform for Hounds Fans

The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club & Break Through Entertainment are excited to announce that the band Nights & Weekends will be making an appearance and performing for fans at the Saturday February 18th Greyhound game against the Niagara Ice Dogs.

The band will be performing the national anthem at the game, and will be also be treating fans to a special performance of some of their new songs. They will be available to meet fans during the game and will be partnering with the Greyhounds to conduct a number of in-game giveaways.

The band consists of three members from across the southern United States are quickly building a name for themselves in the ultra-competitive music industry. Nights & Weekends released their first self-titled EP on iTunes in 2011. A touchdown came quickly after, when the band's music started getting placements on MTV shows including smash hits like Jersey Shore, The Hills, and The Real World. Attention increased, and the band soon scored more TV placements on ABC Family's Make It Or Break It and most recently the CW's new hit program Nikita. The band was recognized at the International Music Competition in New York City where they took home first place and won the opportunity to tour across South Africa. The group is currently selling out college and university shows across the United States and Canada, and is in the process of making a music video for their new single "21st Century Rockstar"

The band will be playing a full show at Docks River Front Bar & Grill Friday night, and coming back for another full performance following the Greyhound game on Saturday (Both shows starting at 11pm). Admission will be at the door, no pre-sale tickets will be available for either of these events.
