Oshawa Generals News Release

Oshawa, ON - The Oshawa Generals announced another surprise giveaway Sunday, February 5th, at the Generals home game. Courtesy of Expedite Plus and its President and CEO, Victor Deschenes, season ticket holder Scott Booth won a trip for two, anywhere in North America that Air Canada flies.

"It was such a great surprise. I've always greatly enjoyed my involvement with the Generals and how they appreciate season ticket holders like this," said Booth.

In a spontaneous gesture of generosity, Deschenes donated the trip for two to be given to a season ticket holder. Sunday night's giveaway was the second time in three weeks that Deschenes has given away such a prize. On Sunday, January 15th, when the Oshawa Generals battled the Sudbury Wolves, another lucky season ticket holder won a trip for two. The giveaways are a great way to thank fans who dedicate so much to the Generals and junior hockey.

"It's a privilege to be able to give back to the fans here and, through the other things we do with the Generals, to let more and more people enjoy quality hockey." Deschenes commented.

A native of Toronto, Victor Deschenes founded Expedite Plus over 25 years ago and built it into the multi-national success it is today. He is as much known for his business success as for his philanthropy, which includes donating 100 tickets for every Generals game to local charities this season.
