Nick Zwack Named South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month

Minor League Baseball™ (MiLB™) today announced the Player and Pitcher of the Month Award winners for June in each of the 14 leagues in Major League Baseball's player development system.

Brooklyn Cyclones pitcher, Nick Zwack received the Pitcher of the Month Award for the South Atlantic League. Left-hander Nick Zwack went 2-0 with a 0.36 ERA in five starts as he allowed just one run on 14 hits in 25.0 innings. Zwack finished the month on a 17-inning scoreless streak and held opponents to a .163 average. Zwack, 23, was selected by New York in the 17th round of the 2021 MLB Draft out of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Zwack is the first Cyclones player to receive this award since the team moved from Short-Season to High-A.
