
Nichols Named Hy-Grade Steel Roofing Player of the Week

The Guelph Storm announced today that goaltender Justin Nichols is the HY GRADE STEEL ROOFING Player of the Week for the week ending September 27th, 2015.
Nichols kicked off the 2015-16 season with two strong performances in net. Friday night in the Storm's home opener against the defending Memorial Cup Champions, the Oshawa Generals, the 20 year old made 26 saves and was named third star in the 3-0 loss. On Saturday in Owen Sound, Nichols put forth another star worthy performance stopping all Attack shots in regulation and only allowing one goal in the 1-0 overtime loss. With 45 saves, he was named second star of the game.
Over the weekend, Nichols posted a 1.94 goals against average and a save percentage of 0.947.
Next up, the Storm host the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds at the Sleeman Centre on Friday for a 7:30pm. They head to Saginaw for a match up against the Spirit on Saturday at 7:11pm.
