The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to name veteran forward Jaden Lindo the Becker Shoes Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, September 28th.
The Pittsburgh Penguins prospect started the season off on the right foot Friday night in Kitchener when he notched the Attack's second goal of the game. The Attack went on defeat the Rangers 5-4 in overtime in come from behind fashion at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
On Saturday evening, the Attack opened the home portion of the schedule and the power forward struck again in a big way. Scoreless after three periods of play, the 6'2 Toronto native took a Josh Sterk feed and deposited the puck behind Justin Nichols to lift the Attack to a 1-0 overtime win.
Lindo and the Attack is back in action this Wednesday when they host the Flint Firebirds. Game time is 7:00pm and tickets are avialbale at the DJ's Furniture Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com or by calling (519) 371-7452.
