
New York Red Bulls II Sign Devon Williams to USL Contract

HARRISON, N.J. (July 10, 2015) - New York Red Bulls II have signed midfielder Devon Chesterson Williams to a USL contract, pending approval of his P-1 Visa, the club announced today.
Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Williams, a native of Kingston, Jamaica, has made appearances for the Jamaica national team and the Jamaica Under-20 national team. He played four years of college soccer at Robert Morris University.
The midfielder, nicknamed "Speedy," finished his senior season for the Colonials in 2014 with two goals and five assists. In 2013, Williams was named All-NEC Second Team selection after starting and playing in all 18 games that season. He concluded his college career with six goals and 15 assists.
Prior to his college career, he played in high school with St. George's and led his team to championships in 2008 and 2009. While still in high school, he made his first appearance for the Jamaican national team against Trinidad and Tobago.
