
New York Red Bulls Announce Ticketing Info for U.S. Open Cup

HARRISON, N.J. (June 2, 2015)- The New York Red Bulls announced today ticketing information for the fourth-round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The Red Bulls will host the Atlanta Silverbacks of the North American Soccer League on Tuesday, June 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Red Bulls season ticket holders have the opportunity to reserve their regular seats at no cost during an exclusive window beginning today at noon through tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3, at 5 p.m. ET.
Season ticket holders will also have a chance to buy additional tickets starting on Thursday, June 4, at 9 a.m. before tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday at noon.
The Atlanta Silverbacks have opened their NASL campaign 1-5-2. They advanced to the fourth round of the Open Cup with a 2-1 extra-time win over Chattanooga FC last Wednesday. After 87 scoreless minutes, Chattanooga struck first. Atlanta pulled level on an 89th minute penalty before finding the winner in extra time.
In 2014 the Silverbacks advanced to the competition's quarterfinals with victories over MLS sides Colorado Rapids and Real Salt Lake.
The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, now in its 102nd edition, is the longest-running soccer competition in the United States. The competition, which began in 1914, includes professional clubs from Major League Soccer, NASL and the United Soccer League, as well as amateur clubs from across the nation. Ahead of the fourth round, U.S. Soccer will hold a draw to determine potential fifth round matchups.
