
New York Red Bulls Advance to Round One of the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs

HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls have advanced to Round One Best-of-3 Series in the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs and will now take on Supporters Shield winners, FC Cincinnati. New York defeated Charlotte FC, 5-2, on Wednesday night at Red Bull Arena to advance.
New York will now turn their attention to FC Cincinnati in a best-of-three format, which will begin on Sunday, October 29 at TQL Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET with coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, FS1, FOX Deportes, TSN, and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, NewYorkRedBulls.com, and the New York Red Bulls app.
The second match of the series will be played at Red Bull Arena on Saturday, November 4 with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET. Coverage will be on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, NewYorkRedBulls.com, and the New York Red Bulls app. If a third leg is needed, the Red Bulls will travel back to TQL Stadium for a match on Saturday, November 11 with kickoff set for 2 p.m. ET.
This will be the second-straight season that New York has faced off against FC Cincinnati in the playoffs with Cincinnati winning the first postseason match against the two clubs, 2-1, at Red Bull Arena. The Red Bulls have posted a 5-3-3 mark against Cincinnati in regular season history, which includes a 2-0-1 mark against them on the road.
