New York City Football Club and DUDE Wipes Launch Clean Sheet Campaign for 2023 MLS Season
May 25, 2023 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
New York City FC News Release
New York City Football Club (NYCFC) and DUDE Wipes announced the launch of the Clean Sheet Campaign for the 2023 MLS Season. This will be the second iteration of the Clean Sheet Campaign following the success of the inaugural campaign last year.
Throughout the 2023 season, every clean sheet NYCFC's First Team earns will result in DUDE Wipes donating 10,000 samples of its products to different charities. In 2022, NYCFC kept 18 clean sheets across all competitions, resulting in DUDE Wipes donating 180,000 samples.
Ryan Meegan, DUDE Products, Inc. Co-Founder, said: "Giving back has been part of the DNA of our company since its inception, and one of the great things about our product is that its utility lends itself to assisting numerous groups of people who we love supporting."
From February through April, the Clean Sheet campaign benefited Fight CRC. NYCFC's clean sheet against Inter Miami CF will be retroactively applied to this year's campaign, resulting in 10,000 DUDE products going to Fight CRC.
The Campaign is currently supporting the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation during the months of May through June, followed by DUDE's Wipe the Troops initiative, sending products to active military during the months of July through August.
The 2023 campaign will end with clean sheets during the month of September through the end of the season resulting in DUDE donating products to New York Common Pantry.
