Inter Miami to Visit Birmingham Legion FC on June 7 in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals

Inter Miami CF will visit Birmingham Legion FC in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday, June 7. The match is set to kick off at 8 p.m. ET at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama, and will be broadcast live on the CBS Golazo Network.

The Club earned its place in the quarterfinals by defeating Miami FC, Charleston Battery and most recently Nashville SC. Meanwhile, USL Championship side Birmingham Legion earned their spot after defeating Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, Chattanooga FC, Memphis 901 FC and Charlotte FC.

The 2023 edition of the tournament marks Inter Miami CF's second year participating in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Tournament and with the victory on Tuesday night against Nashville, the Club advanced to the Quarterfinals for the first time in Club history. Inter Miami need just three more wins to win their first cup in Club history and clinch a spot in the 2024 edition of the Concacaf Champions League.
