
New Mexico United and Smith's Launches Summer Camp Clinics for New Mexican Youth

Albuquerque, NM - New Mexico United and Smith's are excited to announce the launch of United Youth Summer Camps. These experiences, designed for New Mexican youth soccer players, will each include three days of elite instruction from the New Mexico United coaching staff, a United matchday experience at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park, tickets to a United home match in the Smith's Pavilion, a Puma training top, and an incredible week-long experience.
"We are beyond excited to be able to bring this level of elite training experience to even more New Mexican kids," said New Mexico United Head Coach/Technical Director Troy Lesesne. "We know that New Mexican youth soccer is some of the best in the nation, and alongside our partner Smith's, we are going to continue to improve and grow that level of elite play."
Registration is open for the first session of both "Elite" and "Beginner" levels, with additional sessions to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
Recreational/Beginner Camps will focus on basic soccer skills. This camp experience is intended for younger ages and those that are new to the game or have been playing for a couple years, and will provide a fun camp experience that will help young players improve foundational skills such as passing, dribbling, defending, shooting.
Elite/Advanced Camps will provide a more intense and challenging environment which will help participants elevate their understanding of the game. These camps are for players that have been playing soccer more than 4-5 years at the club/ECNL level.
