Atlanta is looking to bounce back following a tough loss on the weekend as it travels to take on Birmingham for the second match-up this season. The team is coming off a 2-1 loss versus OKC Energy FC Sunday night in Kennesaw. Matías Benítez netted Atlanta's lone goal off a through ball from Robbie Mertz in the 49th minute. However, OKC scored two unanswered goals later in the second half to grab three points on the road.

Birmingham sits at the top of the Central Division with a 6-3-1 record (19 points). After three games on the road, Legion FC returns home to BBVA Compass Field with six points. Last time Birmingham took on Atlanta, Bruno Lapa found twine from a penalty kick in stoppage time to record a 1-0 win for Birmingham.
