Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release
Bowling Green, Ky. - Thanks to Kroger, there are even more ways to save money and enjoy baseball action at Bowling Green Ballpark. The Bowling Green Hot Rods (Class-A/Tampa Bay Rays) are happy to announce their partnership with Kroger that will introduce the "Kroger Korner" at the ballpark, and it will feature tickets for just $7 to all games.
"Kroger strives to save families money in their grocery and everyday shopping, so they are a natural partner for the Hot Rods," said Hot Rods Chief Operating officer and General Manager, Adam Nuse. "We love being South-Central Kentucky's most affordable entertainment option, and the opportunity to partner with Kroger takes us to a whole new level in affordability. This partnership matches both of our mission statements, and it shows great commitment to our fans."
The "Kroger Korner" will debut when the Hot Rods return to Bowling Green Ballpark on Tuesday, June 24. Sections 119, 120, and 121 will be entirely comprised of $7 seats. The individual ticket savings are matched by the affordable options for group outings the deal brings, as 20 tickets are available for just $140. The "Kroger Korner" will quickly become a group and family hot spot for the rest of the summer and beyond at Bowling Green Ballpark.
"We are very excited to partner with the Bowling Green Hot Rods to bring this new ticket option to area baseball fans," said Melissa Eads, Marketing and Public Affairs Manager for Kroger. "Going to the ballpark is great family entertainment, so we are proud to be able to partner with the team in this way."
Fans can enjoy the "Kroger Korner" for the first time beginning on Tuesday, June 24. That's when the Hot Rods will play their first game of the second half at Bowling Green Ballpark, and they'll welcome in the Lake County Captains (Cleveland Indians) on an All About You Urgent Clinic T-Shirt Tuesday.
