New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The Revolution officially open the 24th Major League Soccer season this Saturday, March 2, against FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium at 4:30 p.m. ET. Next Saturday, March 9, the club returns to Foxborough for its 2019 home opener against Columbus Crew SC, with kick off set for 2:00 p.m. ET.
The club's local broadcast partner, NBC Sports Boston, will carry New England's opening matches against Dallas and Columbus as well as up to 30 more of the club's regular season games, all of which will be followed by Revolution Postgame Live. Matches carried on NBC Sports Boston, as well as Revolution Postgame Live, will be streamed live on NBCSportsBoston.com and via the NBC Sports app for tablets and mobile devices. Authenticated NBC Sports Boston subscribers will be allowed to watch anywhere in the U.S. via participating distributors.
Executive Producer for all Revolution telecasts and long-time voice of the Revolution, Brad Feldman, returns as the club's play-by-play voice, joined once again by former Revolution assistant coach, World Cup veteran, and ESPN FC analyst Paul Mariner. The 2019 season marks the pair's sixth season together in the booth, and their third joined by sideline reporter Naoko Funayama. Feldman and Mariner also return as hosts of Revolution Postgame Live, a program featuring immediate highlights, postgame analysis, and interviews with Revolution players and coaches, which will air after every locally televised match.
"State of the Revs," the bi-weekly magazine show complete with team features and interviews, also returns for another season beginning on Thursday, Feb. 28, with Revolution Club Ambassador Charlie Davies serving as host. Davies, a former star player for the Revs and the United States Men's National Team, will host the show for a second straight year.
On the radio, 98.5 The Sports Hub (WBZ Radio) will broadcast the club's games locally for the seventh consecutive season and feature a 30-minute live postgame show.
WMVX 1260 AM "Nossa Radio USA" returns as the Revs' Brazilian radio broadcast partner, providing the call locally in Portuguese.
Two Revolution matches will air on national television, including: Friday, July 12 against D.C. United at Audi Field (ESPN) and Saturday, Sept. 7 against New York City FC at Yankee Stadium (Univision).
