Inter Miami CF News Release

Following a difficult midweek matchup against the New England Revolution, Inter Miami is preparing to bounce back this Sunday, July 25, at DRV PNK Stadium against the Philadelphia Union.

Ahead of the match, head coach Phil Neville praised the supporters and their invaluable backing of the team. He also stated that he believes it is time he and the players show their appreciation on the pitch.

"We are in this together, we win together, we lose together, and we draw together. And the thing that I keep thinking in my mind is the supporters that come and support us every week.

"The supporters that back us on social media, the ones that back us in the stadium, the ones that back us by buying our merchandise, they back us by following us all over in this great big country that we live in. It's now time to fight for them because they are our life and blood and as managers, players, and as a Club we are now into real fight mode."

Midfielder Jay Chapman also emphasized how the team will give everything on the pitch to recover from their previous result and give the fans a performance they can be proud of this weekend.

"We can't hang our heads on this past game, we can only learn from it and try to come out this weekend and give it everything we had and really give the fans a game that they can be proud of... We definitely do support them and we appreciate how they support us," said Chapman.

Despite the loss against New England, Chapman believes that the team will use that adversity to push themselves forward and give an inspired performance against Philadelphia.

"A game that you lose 0-5 can be a catalyst for change. So that's the way that I'm looking at it. I'm hoping the rest of the team is looking at it that way."

"I think we're going to come out this Sunday and use our anger from that game and really take the game to Philly because that's all we can do, that's what the fans deserve and that's what we need to do.

"It starts this Sunday to try and get ourselves into a spot where we can try to make a run at this."
