Neville Ahead of D.C.: "I Can Guarantee Attitude and CommitmentâÃâ¬ÃÂ

Inter Miami CF News Release
Inter Miami are back in action on Saturday, June 19 against DC United following a three-week international break for the team. Despite the time off the pitch, Head Coach Phil Neville and the boys have been hard at work behind the scenes to get back to their best ahead of this weekend's matchup.
"The three week break gave us that time to take a step back and breathe and see where we are as a team, as a group. The next three games are going to be a really good sign to the work that we've done over the last three weeks," said Neville.
"We've worked really hard as a technical staff, as a coaching staff, and as a group of players. I think the players know themselves [best], they came back in and we gave them three or four days off to mentally clear their minds and to come back and work really hard. And they've worked really hard and they've worked with a focus. It has not been a vacation for any of them because they all know they need to step up."
Neville is focused primarily on the attitude of the players and how that will determine what the lineup will ultimately look like in their rematch against D.C. United.
"The team that I put out on Saturday will be the team that over the last three weeks have dedicated themselves, have worked really hard, that are focused, that understand accountability, and realize what it means or what it takes to be successful for an Inter Miami player. That will be a reflection of the team that I pick on Saturday.
"You can't guarantee results in this game of football. But what I can guarantee is attitude and commitment and a team that you can look up on and say that that was a team that was together."
This attitude that Neville is instilling within the squad is a step towards his goal of making Inter Miami a formidable team for any opponent.
"We want to be the hardest team to beat, we want to make sure that teams don't find it easy to play against us, we want to make sure that when teams play against Inter Miami, they hate it because that means that we're difficult to beat. Ultimately, we defend as a team, not just the back four, not just the keeper, we defend as a team, we attack as a team," concluded Neville.
