JERSEY SHORE, NJ - Mitch Neunborn threw five no-hit innings and the BlueClaws blanked Aberdeen 5-0 on Thursday at ShoreTown Ballpark for their third straight win.

With Brooklyn splitting a double-header against Greenville, the BlueClaws and Drive are tied atop the SAL Northern Division standings with nine games to play.

Neunborn retired the first seven batters he faced before issuing a walk to Adam Hall in the second. He then retired the last eight and struck out 10 on the night. In his last two starts at ShoreTown Ballpark, he threw 10 no-hit innings with two walks and struck out 18.

The BlueClaws opened the scoring with four runs in the second inning. Jared Carr got things going with a two-run single off starter Seth Johnson. After Anthonio Velez came on, Gabriel Rincones Jr. smashed a two-run double up the gap in right-centerfield to give the BlueClaws a 4-0 lead.

Andrick Nava homered in the sixth to put the BlueClaws up 5-0. It was Nava's third home run of the season, two of which have come since Sunday when he went deep at Wilmington.

After Neunborn came out, the BlueClaws got scoreless innings from Cam Wynne, Jonh Henriquez, Matt Russell, and Jason Ruffcorn to close out the win.

Nava had two hits in the win for the BlueClaws, who are now 26-10 in their last 36 games. The shutout for Jersey Shore was their 10th of the year and a league-best seventh of the second half.

The teams continue their series on Friday night at 7:05 pm. RHP Gunner Mayer starts for Jersey Shore.
