
Nessy Promoted to Dunedin, Lugs Receive Klein

LANSING, Mich. - In conjunction with the Toronto Blue Jays, Lansing Lugnuts catcher Santiago Nessy has been promoted to Class A-Advanced Dunedin (Florida State League). In a corresponding move, the Lugnuts have received catcher Daniel Klein from Vancouver (Short-Season - Northwest League).
A native of Caracas, Venezuela, the 21-year-old Nessy batted .243 with nine doubles, one home run and 16 RBIs in 44 games for the Lugnuts.
The updated Lugnuts official roster is attached, comprising 25 active players and six players on the Disabled List.
Lansing is currently on the road, playing at 3 :05 p.m. at Great Lakes in the first half finale. Tuesday is the 50th annual Midwest League All-Star Game at West Michigan, with the next Lugnuts home game on a Labatt Thirsty Thursday, June 19th, opening a s even -game, eight -day homestand.
