Nemisz and Bouma Return to Abbotsford

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that forwards Lance Bouma and Greg Nemisz have been reassigned to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Bouma, a native of Provost, AB, appeared in five games with the Flames in his first call up to the NHL and 11 games in his most recent stint. During his first call up, he recorded his first NHL point, an assist on February 7. Bouma was Calgary's 3rd round pick (78th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Nemisz, a native of Courtice, Ontario, is playing in his first professional season. He played his first six NHL games earning his first point (assist) on April 6 in a 6-1 win over Edmonton. The 6'3", 200 lbs forward was a member of the Canadian National Junior Team in 2010 capturing a silver medal at the World Junior Championships. He was also a member of back to back Memorial Cup Championships with the Windsor Spitfires in 2009 and 2010. He was the Flames 1st round pick (25th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
