Bulldogs Playoff Tickets Go on Sale Monday

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that tickets for their first round series in the 2011 Calder Cup Playoffs will go on sale, Monday, April 11th at 10:00 a.m. All tickets are $19.50 and fans interested in purchasing group tickets can do so by calling 905-777-2372. Tickets will be available at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, any Ticketmaster Outlet, online at www.ticketmaster.com or through charge-by-phone at 1-855-872-5000. Dates for the games and an opponent are still to be determined but will be known by Monday.

On Tuesday night, Hamilton clinched a Calder Cup playoff berth for the third consecutive year and 12th time in their 15-season history. With two games remaining, the Bulldogs currently sit in first place in the North Division with a record of 42-27-2-7 and 93 points. The 'Dogs are tied in points with the Manitoba Moose, who they will battle in their final two games of the 2010-2011 regular season. The Bulldogs are chasing after their fourth and second consecutive regular season divisional title having won the Canadian Division in 2002-2003 and the North Division in 2003-2004 and 2009-2010.

The 'Dogs will meet the Moose on Friday, April 8th and Saturday, April 9th for back-to-back 8:30 p.m. games in Winnipeg. Fans can tune in to the games on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, 820 CHAM, and online on www.hamiltonbulldogs.com and www.ahllive.com. All regular season and playoff Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts on AM 820 CHAM will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
