
Neiszner Called Up to Omaha

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that center Chris Neiszner (pronounced Knees-Nurr) has been recalled to the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League. He will join the Knights in time for their game on Wednesday night at Chicago.
Neiszner has seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 31 games played this season. The rookie center's +11 rating is the sixth highest on the team and his three game-winning goals are second best for Las Vegas. The 22-year old has been hot of late, scoring five goals and adding two assists for seven points in his last 10 games played. In his last four games, the Craik, Saskatchewan native has two game-winning goals and five points. Neiszner, attended both the Calgary Flames' camp and the Knights' training camp in September. Prior to turning pro, he played four seasons of junior hockey for the Red Deer Rebels in the Western Hockey League. In 286 career games, he scored 49 goals and added 52 assists for 101 points. He also had 20 points in 61 career playoff games. Neiszner was signed by the Flames as a free agent in July of 2005.
Neiszner becomes the eighth member of the Wranglers to get recalled to the American Hockey League this season. Las Vegas will play at U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix on Thursday night at 6:11 pm (PST).
Las Vegas embarks on a seven-game road trip with stops in Phoenix, San Diego, Idaho, Long Beach, and Bakersfield. Las Vegas will return to home ice on Tuesday, February 7th in a showdown with Alaska. After stops in Phoenix and San Diego next Thursday and Friday, the team enters the All-Star break. The All-Star Skills Competition is scheduled for Tuesday, January 24th at 7:00 pm at Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA. The 2006 ECHL All-Star Game presented by Bud Light, will take place Wednesday, January 25th at 7:00 pm at Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA.

Fans may purchase seats to all Wranglers home games at any of the following ticket locations: The Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast, South Coast and Suncoast, or at the Galleria Mall guest relations/ticket centers.
