Kansas City Brigade News Release
Kansas City, Mo. (Nov. 15) - Brigade vice president and co-owner Neil Smith will appear at the Hy-Vee in Raytown (6731 Blue Ridge Blvd) this Saturday, November 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. His visit, on behalf of the Derrick Thomas/Neil Smith Third and Long Foundation, is in appreciation of the work of store general manager John Cummings.
"I definitely want to thank Hy-Vee and John for their work now and in the past," Smith said. "It has really been good for the kids we work with at the foundation."
Third and Long and Cummings formed a partnership a couple of years ago to provide food for the foundation's events while he worked at a store in Gladstone. Smith will be available for autographs and photos and will be joined by the Brigade Girls.
"We're honored to have Neil come out," Cummings said. "We like to help the community and it has been a pleasure working with Third and Long because they do a great job."
