Utah Blaze News Release

SALT LAKE CITY - The Home Away From Home Food Drive Coalition, along with the Utah Blaze and the 96th Regional Readiness Command Army Reserve, have teamed up for the second annual 'Home Away From Home' food drive.

Participants in this year's food drive include 30 high schools across the Wasatch Front and all Ken Garff Automotive group locations. The school that boasts the most donations will win Utah Blaze tickets for their entire school.

"We are excited to be a part of such a great cause," said Utah Blaze President JASON JONES. "We are committed to giving back to the community, and The 'Home Away From Home' food drive is a great opportunity for our organization to do just that."

Last year's event raised over 180,000 pounds of food with top donation honors going to Taylorsville High School and Layton Christian Academy.

The Harley-Davidson Blaze Dancers along with the Army Reserve will be collecting food at East High School on November 17th at 9:45 a.m. They will then travel to Murray High School to collect more donations and conclude the day by dropping off the food at the Utah Food Bank.
