NBA G League Cancels Remainder of 2019-20 Season
June 4, 2020 - NBA G League (G League) - Santa Cruz Warriors News Release
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - NBA G League President Shareef Abdur-Rahim today announced that the remainder of the 2019-20 NBA G League season, which was suspended March 12, has been canceled. The NBA G League's regular season was scheduled to conclude on March 28.
"While it is sad to see the season come to an end, I am glad the decision was made to prioritize the health and safety of our players, staff, fans, and the Santa Cruz Community at large," said Santa Cruz Warriors President Chris Murphy. "I speak on behalf of the entire Warriors organization when I say that we cannot wait for next season and to be in an electric Kaiser Permanente Arena with our dedicated fans cheering us on!"
