FIELD SET FOR FOURTH ANNUAL NBA D-LEAGUE DREAM FACTORY FRIDAY NIGHT PRESENTED BY HAIER
The NBA Development League Dream Factory Friday Night presented by Haier, an innovative skills competition modeled after the popular NBA All-Star Saturday Night presented by State Farm, returns for the fourth consecutive year to Center Court at NBA Jam Session presented by adidas on Friday, Feb. 18, at 11 p.m. ET. All three events - the Slam Dunk and Three-Point Shooting Contests and the second annual NBA D-League Haier Shooting Stars - will steam live on NBA Futurecast at nba.com/dleague. Dar Tucker (New Mexico Thunderbirds) and Andre Ingram (Utah Flash), the champions from last season's NBA D-League All-Star Slam Dunk and Three-Point Contests, respectively, both return to defend their titles amidst a deep and talented field that includes eight players with NBA experience. Tucker will compete against 2011 GATORADE Call-Up Chris Johnson (Dakota Wizards / Portland Trail Blazers), Latavious Williams (Tulsa 66ers), the second-round pick (48th overall) of Oklahoma City in the 2010 NBA Draft, and Marqus Blakely (Iowa Energy) in the Slam Dunk Contest, a two-round competition. Ingram returns to defend his title in the Three-Point Shooting Contest against Marcus Landry (Reno Bighorns), Scottie Reynolds (Springfield Armor) and Booker Woodfox (Texas Legends), who won the Three-Point Contest at the 2011 NBA D-League Showcase in January. Returning for its second year is the Haier NBA D-League Shooting Stars competition, which features 12 NBA D-League stars competing in four teams of three in a two-round timed shooting event, including 2011 GATORADE Call-Ups Orien Greene (Utah Flash / New Jersey Nets), Larry Owens (Tulsa 66ers / San Antonio Spurs) and Garrett Temple (Erie BayHawks / Milwaukee Bucks); Marcus Cousin (Austin Toros); Shane Edwards (New Mexico Thunderbirds); Cedric Jackson (Idaho Stampede); 2010 GATORADE Call-Up Othyus Jeffers (Iowa Energy); Ivan Johnson (Erie BayHawks); Jerel McNeal (Rio Grande Valley Vipers); Walker Russell Jr. (Fort Wayne Mad Ants); DeShawn Sims (Maine Red Claws) and Jeremy Wise (Bakersfield Jam).
