February 16, 2011 - NBA G League (G League)
Erie BayHawks News Release

Erie, Pennsylvania, Feb. 15, 2011 - Erie BayHawks players Ivan Johnson and Garrett Temple are scheduled to be part of the NBA Development League Dream Factory Friday Night presented by Haier, taking place at All-Star Weekend.

The innovative skills competition is modeled after the popular NBA All-Star Saturday Night presented by State Farm, and returns for the fourth consecutive year to Center Court at NBA Jam Session presented by adidas on Friday, Feb. 18, at 11 p.m. ET. The night features three events - the Slam Dunk and Three-Point Shooting Contests and the second annual NBA D-League Haier Shooting Stars - and will steam live on NBA Futurecast at nba.com/dleague.

Johnson and Temple are scheduled to participate in the Haier Shooting Stars contest which features six numbered shooting locations of increasing difficulty. The contest is comprised of four teams of three players each, with each team attempting to make all shots in numeric order in the fastest time. Each team will select a specific player rotation to follow throughout the competition. Each shot must be made before the next player begins shooting in succession. Teams have up to two minutes to complete the entire shooting course, and the team that completes all six shots in the least amount of time is the winner. In the case of a tie, a shoot-off will be used to determine the champion. The fifth-annual NBA D-League All-Star Game presented by SonoSite will follow on Saturday, Feb. 19, at 5 p.m. ET, at Center Court at NBA Jam Session presented by adidas. The game can be seen on NBA-TV.
