Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release

Daygame, more entertainment acts, appearance by Dale Earnhardt #88 Show Car on tap!

After a weekend jaunt to Hammons Field in Springfield, the Naturals will be back home in relatively short order, returning to Arvest Ballpark Monday for a four-game series with their intra-state rival Travelers as they resume the Arkansas Diamond Series for the Car Mart Cup. The Travelers have had the upper hand thus far in the rivalry but have gotten off to a terrible start to the second half. They'll be looking to right the ship here next week as they make their final trip of the regular season to Northwest Arkansas. The Naturals plan to keep fans entertained by stepping up the entertainment during the quick homestand.

Monday, July 14th, the Naturals start the homestand with Monday Night Lights presented by Ozarks Electric Cooperative Corporation, Sam98, Y94, and the Morning News, and offers fans the chance to bring in their Ozarks Electric bill for $1 off of a Premium, Reserved, or Subway Berm ticket at the box office. Monday night also means another night of the popular Morning News Baseball Bingo, where you can play along with the game action to win prizes from the Naturals and the Morning News! Dale Earnhardt's #88 National Guard show car will also be on display prior to the game. The NASCAR legend has been driving the National Guard co-sponsored No. 88 Sprint Cup car as well as the Guard's primary-sponsored No. 05 Nationwide Series car during his first season under the Hendrick Motorsports banner. Game time is 7 on Monday, and gates open at 6.

Tuesday, July 15th is another Arvest Customer Appreciation Night. All Arvest customers presenting a bill, credit card, or debit card at the box office window receive $2 off their Premium, Reserved, or Subway Berm ticket, and 93.3 The Eagle will broadcast live before the game. Tuesday night also features a special performance by Rally! Rally is a traveling entertainment act that will keep fans on their feet for all nine innings. Visit his website at www.itsrallytime.com. Gates open at six and the fun begins at 7:00 P.M.

Wednesday, July 16th is a special "Daygame" at 12 Noon (Gates open at 11). Come play hooky with the Naturals and take advantage of our HALF PRICE GROUP DAY for your office or summer camp. The Naturals also will offer two lunch options: a $12.50 ticket which includes a reserved seat, a hot dog, chips, and regular drink, or a $25 ticket that includes a three-hour All-You-Can-Eat Seat in our Bud Light Bullpen Café. The Naturals will be offering a Slip N' Slide to help fans beat the summer heat as well as an Arts and Crafts table for the kids. Hot Mix 101.9 will be broadcasting live before the game.

Thursday, July 17th come out as the homestand wraps up and beat the heat with Verizon Wireless Thirsty Thursday. Ten-ounce Miller High Life drafts and 12-ounce Pepsi fountain beverages will be offered for one buck. New and improved this week - the Naturals will now offer dollar beers on BOTH SIDES of the ballpark, as well as wristband our adult guests prior to entering the ballpark, which will reduce the lines significantly. ESPN Radio 1190 The Fan and 104.9 The X will be broadcasting live before the game offering prizes and cool promotions. Game time is 7:00 and gates will open at 6.

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and play at state-of-the-art Arvest Ballpark, located in Springdale. The Naturals have a toll-free ticket hotline (1-877-444-2637) for fans to purchase Naturals tickets. Our website also offers fans the opportunity to purchase tickets online and avoid lines at the ticket windows by printing their tickets at home or at the office.
