Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release

TULSA, Okla. - The game was billed as a pitcher's duel with the Royals' No. 3 *Kyle Zimmer (2-1, 2.16) *against the Dodgers No. 2 prospect left-hander *Julio Urias (2-4, 3.16)*; but some early miscues allowed for the Drillers to score four runs in the first three innings in the 4-1 loss at ONEOK Field on Friday night.

Zimmer worked 4.2 innings maxing out his threshold of pitches in just his second start of the season. The La Jolla, Calif. native allowed one earned run on eight hits with three punch outs in the loss.

Northwest Arkansas (55-56/15-26) took an early 1-0 lead off Urias in the first inning with *Alex Liddi *singling up the middle to plate *Raul Mondesi *from second base; but that would be all the Naturals would get off the 18-year old southpaw.
