TODAY: A pair of struggling ballclubs take to the field tonight in Salem, VA when the Potomac Nationals face the Salem Red Sox for the first of three from Lewis-Gale Field. The P-Nats have lost their last three series and seven of their last 10 games entering this three-game set with the Red Sox are are now a full 5.0 games back of Lynchburg for the 1st half crown in the North Division. Salem, meanwhile, is just 3-10 in their last 13 games and are now four games under .500 at 23-27... but... still just 1.5 games out of 1st in the South Division.

The season series is currently in favor of Potomac, 4-3, with the P-Nats taking three of four from the Sox in Salem from April 13-16. The Red Sox claimed two of three from Potomac at Pfitzner Stadium from May 12-14.
