Nastasiuk Named Becker Shoes Player of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has named captain Zach Nastasiuk the Becker Shoes Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, November 9nd.

In three games, Nastasiuk notched three goals while adding an assist in a pair of games against Windsor and a road contest against Plymouth. Nastasiuk provided a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory over the Spitfires at home on Saturday, Nov. 8 while scoring the Attack's only two goals in a 4-2 loss to Windsor on the road on Thursday.

Nastasiuk's three goals on the weekend improved him to five goals in the team's last four games, and he now had 10 goals and nine assists on the year.

He, along with teammates Chris Bigras and Damir Sharipzyanov will be playing in the SUBWAY Super Series on Thursday night in Peterborough and Monday night in Kingston. Nastasiuk and Bigras will be representing Team OHL for the 2nd time.

The Attack is back in action Friday and Saturday when they contest a home and home against the London Knights. Friday's game is in London while Saturday's contest is at the JD McArthur Arena. Both games are scheduled for 7:30pm.
