Coach 4 Food Program Looking for Teams
November 12, 2014 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Sudbury Wolves News Release
The Sudbury Wolves are looking for hockey teams in the Greater Sudbury Area that are interested in getting involved within their community.
The Coach 4 Food program wants you to join our power play and help end hunger in Sudbury. Participating teams will have one month to rise as much canned food or funds for the Sudbury Food Bank. The team that collects the most amounts of pounds will win a practice with the Wolves.
Our goal is to build awareness of community service in children and challenge all teams to collect 1,000 pounds of food.
The process is very simple; teams can go door-to-door, canvas grocery stores or have a box at the arena, just to name a few ideas. Once a team is ready for their canned food to be weight, it can be brought to the Sudbury Food Bank or it can be called in for pick up!
To register your team, contact the Wolves Office at 705-671-3000 or email office@sudburywolves.com.This program is open to all minor hockey teams in the City of Greater Sudbury.
Join the fight and help concur hunger in Sudbury!
