From the Notes

How Sweep It Is: The Sounds completed their first four-game sweep of the season after beating Memphis 3-1 on Friday Night. The win also clinched the season series against Memphis, finishing at 9-7 against the Redbirds this sesaon. The last time Nashville swept a four-game series was August 9-12 of 2018 against the Colorado Spring Sky Sox. That four-game sweep over Colorado Springs was part of Nashville's 15-game winning streak.

The 5 W's: After completing the four-game sweep at Memphis, Nashville has set their season-long winning streak to five games. The Sounds have two other four-game winning streak, the first coming between Memphis and Oklahoma City from May 5 - 8 and the second in the five game series against Round Rock from May 17 -20. The five-game win streak is the longest active streak in the Pacific Coast League.

Bringing It Home: The Sounds finished their 9-game road trip with a 7-2 record after last night's 3-1 win. The team is hit .294 (94-for-320) and scored 6.9 runs per game (62/9). Nashville had 18 doubles and 16 home runs during the trip. Pitchers compiled a 4.78 ERA (79.0 IP/42 ER) and allowed 95 hits and 28 walks to go along with 73 strikeouts. Nashville looks to bring that success home, where they have a 13-27 record. The Sounds' offense is hitting just .232 (297-for-1278) at First Tennessee Park and Sounds' pitching is allowing a 5.14 ERA.

Sounds vs. Dodgers: Nashville and Oklahoma City have played each other in just 3 games so far this season with 13 more to go. The Sounds currently lead the season series 2-1 and have outscored the Dodgers 20-15. Nashville's offense hit well in the three games, batting .347 (34-for-98) with 4 doubles, a triple, a home run and 13 walks. Zack Granite has hit Oklahoma City pitching very well, going 9-for-14 (.643) with 5 runs, a double, 3 RBI a walk and a stolen base.

Crazy 8s: Outfielders Zack Granite and Scott Heineman are both on an eight-game hitting streak, leading the Sounds and are both tied-for-12th in the league in active hitting streaks. Granite is 15-for-39 (.385) with 6 runs, a double, a home run and 3 RBI. Heineman, who's streak started in his first rehab assignment with Nashville, is 13-for-32 (.406) with 8 runs, a double, 2 home runs and 8 RBI.

Dropping Wisdom: Infielder Patrick Wisdom is heating up, hitting a home run in three of his last five games. He had a good four-game series in his old home ballpark in Memphis, hitting .286 (4-for-14) with a double, 2 home runs, 4 RBI and 4 walks (.444/.786/1.230).
