
Nashville Soccer Club Earns Third Consecutive Road Result with 2 - 2 Draw at San Jose Earthquakes

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Nashville Soccer Club earned its third consecutive road result on Saturday afternoon with a 2-2 draw over the San Jose Earthquakes. MLS Best XI midfielder Hany Mukhtar registered his first goal of the season in the 38th minute with an assist from Aníbal Godoy and followed with a second goal in the 63rd minute.
Hany Maker: Midfielder Hany Mukhtar recorded his first goal of the 2022 season with a brace. Mukhtar now has five combined goals and assists this season after leading MLS in 2021 with 28. Nashville has never lost a regular season match when Mukhtar registers a goal (7W-0L-8D).
Welcome Back Aníbal: Nashville SC midfielder Aníbal Godoy returned to San Jose for the first time since being acquired by Nashville SC in 2020. Godoy registered the assist on Mukhtar's first goal of the day and of the season.
