JOLIET - The word is out and tickets are selling fast! Race fans are hoping for a chance to meet NASCAR Champ Matt Kenseth at the July 5 Joliet JackHammers game in Joliet.
Kenseth, the 2003 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Champion, is scheduled to throw out the first pitch at the 7:05 p.m. game at Silver Cross Field. Kenseth will be signing autographs and more, so get your tickets now!
Kenseth, 34, was the 2000 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Rookie of the Year and recently won the Neighborhood Excellence 400 NEXTEL Cup Race at Dover. He's finished in the top 10 in points for four consecutive years and last year had six top-fives among the season's final 10 races.
The JackHammers have full season tickets, mini-plan ticket packages, individual tickets and a variety of group ticket packages available for the 2006 season.
